What is
Occupational Therapy?

Occupational Therapy (OT) is a client-centered practice that focuses on helping individuals achieve independence in daily activities through therapeutic techniques and interventions. Unlike Physical Therapy (PT), which primarily aims to improve whole-body function and mobility, OT emphasizes enhancing a person's ability to perform everyday tasks, such as dressing, cooking, and working. Occupational Therapists work with clients to develop personalized strategies that promote their overall well-being and quality of life. By addressing both physical and cognitive challenges, OT plays a crucial role in enabling individuals to engage meaningfully in their daily lives.
